History:The haste in which this vessel was built necessitated the use of unseasoned timber and fell to pieces and saw no service whatsoever.
1st January 1856. As from this date all gunboats were commissioned as impendent commanders with a crew of 36 men and officers.
23rd April 1856. Present at Fleet Review, Spithead.
May have been laid up incomplete, and never stirred from her berth until towed away for breaking up.
April 1865. Broken up by Marshall of Plymouth.
